RemoteCam4-Producer™ Digital PTZ Camera Extension Kit

Sound Control Technologies’ RemoteCam4-Producer™ extension solution offers a cost and time saving alternative to traditional infrastructure cabling for EagleEye Producer Power, Control, IR and Video. The RemoteCam4-Producer™ Kits provide a reliable "transparent" link between the Producer and RealPresence Group Series codecs.

The RemoteCam4-Producer™ kits provide:

• EagleEye Producer & EagleEye IV Camera Power
• Digital Video up to 1080p60
• RS232 Control
• Wired and modulated IR
• Distances up to 300’ over a single CAT5e or CAT6 UTP CABLE

Cabling

All application specific camera and codec/head-end cables and power supply are included in the kit. Standard CAT5e or CAT6 UTP cable is used, eliminating the need for low-skew or no-skew cable to further control deployment costs. Standard UTP-568A or UTP-568B termination is used to reduce errors in the field. SCT provides a power cable “Sniffer”, or any traditional UTP cable tester can be utilized to confirm termination prior to SCT module integration.
