BONJET ATELIER FIBRE is a special paper for the fine art market. There are only very few art papers available, offering the unique characteristics and touch for which enlargements on traditional silver halide baryta fibre paper are known. But BONJET ATELIER FIBRE fulfils this promise because it is a true inkjet baryta fibre paper. The paper meets two important criteria:
1. it contains barium sulphate, and
2. this barium sulphate (=baryta) has been coated as a separate layer between the paper fibre base and the inkjet receiving layer – exactly the same structure which is characteristic for a traditional silver halide fibre base paper, the standard for art photographers across the world for more than 100 years. Not many other so-called "inkjet baryta papers" offer this technology and layer structure.

The barium sulphate coat provides the unique look and feel of a baryta fibre print: creamy whites and silky blacks with unmatched details and most subtle tonal rendition. And even the "aroma" is the same: open a fresh pack of FIBRE, and you smell the same scent that darkroom experts have had in their noses for many decades.

BONJET ATELIER FIBRE has a surface resembling an air-dried glossy silver halide f/b print. It features high-resolution images in premium quality with a wide tonal rendition and excellent archival properties. This makes it first choice for photo art in exhibition quality with vivid colours, dramatic black&white contrasts and finest details.

The acid-free paper is most suited for art prints and high end photographic work for art exhibitions and indoor decoration. It is fully compatible with all water based dye and pigmented inks commonly used in photo quality desktop and large format printers.
